I have a launch 60 gig and it is the most complete version of the system. You all are celebrating the Slim but it is far from the most superior Ps3 model.

When I saw the title for the article I knew that the Sony boys would be in here talking about Gears 1.5 and the commercial flop that is Killzone 2.
Fact: Gears had a way cheaper budget than KZ2 apparently people liked it more because it sold more. I would figure that Gears maybe the better game. Killzone 1 and 2 are not popular titles outside of the hardcore Sony boys. Gears is mainstream. This isn't my opinion it is fact!!!!!

I actually was debating whether or not to get the Ps2 version or the Ps3 version due to them being so similiar. I never felt that wrestling games should come out yearly. I hope the UFC doesn't follow this trend but I feel that it will. Every year it is the same game with new wrestlers.

but why do you guys figure that everyone wants a Blu_ray player? I Mean it is one hell of a feature but most folks don't care one way or the other. Sony was counting on Blu-Ray to be the next DVD but that strategy didn't work this time and they are getting burned. With my job I visit a lot of families and I see everyone with big screen tv's but no one with HD tv service or Blu-Ray players.
I have to go with demos. I also go to xbox.com and playstation.com and listen to the feedback from other gamers.

Sony really didn't give SOCOM any love. They treated it like a stepchild. Sony was so focused on KZ2 and R2 that they forgot about Socom and that is a damn shame!!

To fill up a blu ray disc means more time and effort and money for the developer. Why would they put in all that effort when the DVD9 version on the Xbox 360 will probably sale way more. You fanboys keep forgetting that it is a business designed to make money. You have to spend money to make money but you don't have to be stupid. Why would EA spend millions more producing Madden for the Ps3 when it sales more on the 360. Plain common sense.
